Smart Seed Investments is a real estate investment firm. Our goal is to make strategic real estate opportunities available and approachable to anyone from every day investors to institutional ones. We are focused on the acquisition, management, operation and ultimately disposition of value-add and stabilized multi-family assets in target markets throughout the United States. Our investors include a broad spectrum of busy working professionals who are looking to generate passive income through real estate.

experience in residential and commercial real estate.
Tina Hsu
Managing Partner
Tina is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Smart Seed Investments. She is a full-time real estate professional and has been an owner/operator of commercial real estate since 2015. She is also a real estate agent focusing on luxury residential sales in Los Angeles, CA. Prior to real estate, Tina worked for UBS Investment Bank, Gap Inc and other Fortune 500 companies in both the US, Japan, and China. She has over a decade of experience in product management – analyzing trends, managing P&L across different categories, launching strategic initiatives and leading new markets. Tina received a B.A. at UC Berkeley.
Tina manages acquisitions, marketing, investor relations and operations for Smart Seed Investments.
Alex Hoag
Managing Partner
Alex is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Smart Seed Investments. He is a full-time real estate professional as well as a licensed attorney and broker, and has been investing in real estate since 2010. Prior to Smart Seed Investments, Alex worked as both in-house counsel and as a real estate executive for several flexible office providers in both Hong Kong and the U.S. after beginning his career practicing commercial real estate law. Alex received his B.S. at UC Berkeley and his JD at the University of Southern California.
Alex manages acquisitions, partnerships, investor relations and asset management for Smart Seed Investments.
